ARTISTIC STATEMENT:
COMPANY OF FOOLS is an independent, Latino-founded, and minority-run contemporary theatre company committed to community, social engagement, and innovation. We strive to constantly challenge the limits of our own ability, study, understanding, and advocacy. To this end, our mantra for our art is: Dare to fail gloriously. Our brand, methodologies, and spirit do not shy away from challenge or change. We are always willing to push the absolute edge of our capabilities as artists, teachers, and creators. Our willingness to push past the fear of failure can and must lead to unheard-of success.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Company of Fools is a contemporary theatre company with a threefold mission:
to present powerful, thoughtful, redemptive, and invigorating productions of 20th and 21st century texts;
to commission, create, develop, and produce new, original works; and
to empower new voices, new artists, new communities, and new perspectives throughout our various artistic pursuits.
